The CHAIRMAN TRUSTEE, DR. KARAN SINGH, is an erudite scholar and an orator of international repute and author of a number of books. He is a great exponent of Indian philosophy and culture. He has taken upon himself the role of a roving ambassador of Hindu religion carrying the message of the Vedas from one end of the globe to the other. Under his guidance, the Trust has achieved a multidimensional complexion and has made a debut in the capital of the country where Ramayan Vidyapeeth at Delhi has emerged as an important Center of religious social and cultural activities.

The Trust carries out the activities of :
  • Maintenance of temples in Kashmir, Jammu, Himachal Pardesh, Haridwar, Varanasi buildings and shopping complexes and Forest Maintenance of temples and construction of new temples is getting proper attentions of the Trust.
  • Maintenance of Raghunath Pathshalla at Shri Raghunath Ji Temple and Raghunath Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Birpur.
  • A Sanskrit Library called as Shri Ranbir Sanskrit Institute Research where very rare Manuscript are kept, is being maintained for benefit of the Scholars.
  • Two Yatri Bhawans viz Ranbir and Hari Bhawan, Maharani Tara Devi Sarai, Sarai at Shiv Ji Temple, Purmandal and Sudhmahadev are providing accommodation to Yatries.
  • Sada Brat (Free Meals) - This facility is available at Ranbireshwar Temple, Shri Raghunath Ji Temple and Sudhmahadev temple for needy persons.
  • Assistance to widows, orphans and others, financial assistance is being given to deserving persons. Donations are being given to religious as well as social organizations such as Jammu Yatri Bhawan at Haridwar for propagation of Sanatan Dharm. Donations are also given to the religious organizations such as Sanatan Dharm Sabha, Dharmik Yuvak Mandal, Jammu for celebrations of festivals.
  • Sewing machines and blankets are given to destitutes, widows and other poor persons and Sadhus.
  • For purchase of Murties and funds for construction are provided to other temples not of Dharmarth Trust.

Presently, Dharmarth Trust is Maintaining 102 temples in the State as well as in rest of the Country. To promote Sanskrit Language, a College by the name of Shri Raghunath Sanskrit Mahavidalaya has been established at Birpur, Jammu, which provides free education, boarding and lodging facilities to students. Merit scholarships are given to Societies and Individuals for promotion of the Hindu religion.
